Re: New member of the family.
No you shouldn't put a uth on it unless it's regulated by a thermostat.
Re: New member of the family.
What about feeding and handling. Should I wait a certain amount if time on feeding and handling?

Re: New member of the family.
So I'm on my way home from work and I'm so excited to see how the new big guy (we ended up naming him Conan. Lol) is doing! I tried to pick him up last night and he wasn't having it. He kept hissing at me. So well see what happens. I think I might try to feed him too.

Re: New member of the family.
Poor Conan!! I came home to a cold snake! The heat bulb must of went out while I was at work and his tank was 70 degrees! I am such a bad dad![emoji20] he would probably would rather be at the place I got him from. At least he had a light bulb. So I'm not going to feed him. Too cold I think. If I can get the temp up I might try later tonight.

Re: New member of the family.
Did you get a thermostat to control the uth?
Re: New member of the family.
Yeah I worked about 2 hours south today. The Wally Word down there had one!

Re: New member of the family.
I got his tank up to temp and he started moving around so I decided to go ahead and see if he would eat. I barely got the rat in his tank and he was coiled up around it. I think those people were starving him. Gotta get him on a schedule!!http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...1a9324733a.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...8a9cdc21e4.jpg
