I also tried using the blow dryer but seem like that didn't get the snake warm enough either idk if it can be that the blow dryer is :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:ty one or what but if I was to get a thermometer gun to see the rat temperature what is the appropriate heat range

I take an old coffee can and put the rats in it. Fill it with hot water from the tap. Let it sit for a few hours and they'll thaw. Empty out the water and refill with the hottest water your tap will put out. Let the rats sit in that for 15-20min to get thoroughly warm. Then just pull them out and offer them to the snake. I would recommend feeding him in his enclosure. You'll probably get a better feed response that way. Rats body temps are avg 100 degrees I believe, so if the rat is 100+ degrees that is perfect. Faucets are usually set to put out 115-120° water (at least mine are) so don't worry, you can't cook a rat using the hottest tap water.
