Try offering smaller meals. I think it builds "confidence" in feeding consistently. I feed Monday and Thursdays. Very few refuse at all unless going into shed.

Some hit a wall at 1000g and some hit the wall earlier.... like 600-700g. She will be ready by next fall!!

honestly you need to just take a breather and be patient. skipping one meal is nothing to be worried about, especially when feeding a small bp every 4 days. its probably backed up a little bit and needs some time to digest. give it another week and offer again. I bet she takes it!

    Honestly, what's the giant rush?

I've got three females within the 1,000 to 1,400 gram range right now that I wish to breed in February. But if they aren't within weight by that time, I'll be waiting for next season. Personally I want to make sure all my girls are good and healthy before I try to put a male in with them.

She'll still be there next next season.

    ok,

there is no rush, it is just something i was/am looking forward to doing so.

and to Izzyz Keeper, she devacates regularly.

but i will leave her alone and try next feeding day, on 19th.

if she takes it thenm i will put her on a once a week scedule.

This. I have a couple of 2012 girls right in that range. They're inconsistent feeders - when they're on they're voracious, when they're off it ain't happening. Some people would go ahead and pair them this year, I want a little more size on them so they'll go in 2015.

Maybe switch to every 7 days for feeding. I got my 3 month old bp and he is on a 7 day feeding schedule. if he doesnt eat on the 7th day, I try again the next day. so far it works.

Ball pythons do this all the time. Just wait til next week and offer again. Also if she refuses do not for any reason what so ever offer anything else at all until the next feeding day.

ok guys I want to thank everybody for there advise and reassurance on this matter.

Today was another feeding day here and she took a 70 gram rat even though it seems to me she is going into her shed cycle so it indeed all worked out fine i guess and starting today i will put her on a once every week feeding scedule.

    Thanks again!
