How big is the female? That seems sorta excessive imo.

Ya, I would slow down just a bit. You can really easily see the pale skin between the scales that is just a bit too much. For me another indicator is head to body size, I know its not the same for all BPs and your taking pictures from the back end but the ratio seems just a bit off.
Like I said the scale spacing is a better indicator.

That is great, her being overweight doesn't really mean she is unhappy, only that she is maybe a little unhealthy. Like any other animal, being overweight can have negative effects on her body, so its better to keep her in a range of healthy weight.

I can't comment on the follicles aspect, as I've no experience in breeding either. Isn't it crazy though how different they can be from ball to python ball python! Okay he's male but he's just over 1700g when I weighed him last and he is not as girthy as I guess a female would be (as I don't have a female to compare him with)? but he certainly makes up for it with his length, ha!

Personally, I would never feed more than two... I have seen sometimes people feeding 3 but to me that's even pushing it.
Just because they CAN doesn't mean they SHOULD - keep eating, that is.
