There are busy clowns and reduced clowns the rest depends on personal taste.

It looks nice to me. What do you have to breed him to? A male recessive is only as good as the females you have, no matter what the price.

Oh man he looks awful! Who's the breeder? I want to call him and give him a piece of my mind, I may even have to rescue it! LOL j/k, that is one gorgeous animal, I'd be all over it. A sweet looking clown like that is next up on my list of must haves.

Haha ok I feel a lot better about going to check him out and possibly bring him home tomorrow. My plan with him will be to eventually make butter bee clowns

I have a female butter bee and a lesser bee male and a female lesser on the way. I also have a friend with a female normal het clown and I'm sure he would love to help me make some clown babies. My plan will be to breed the clown to my butter bee to make butter bee het clowns. Then breed my lesser female to him to make a lesser het clown. Lesser het clown + butter bee het clown to try for butter bee clowns or king clowns. I may collaborate with my friend and his normal het clown to make lesser clowns to breed to the butter bee het clown. That would put the odds more in my favor though this is all well down the road

I have gotten three snakes from craigslist, a single and a pair. Each time I went into the deal assuming the person had no clue what was they were doing and that I would have to judge for myself the quality of the animal. I was not disappointed in either case. Wound up with 2 healthy snakes over all, so as long as you're willing to put some time into your cheaper buy I think its totally worth it.

Not only do you get a cool animal out of it, then you improve the life of the snake, but also you get to take a cool animal away from an undeserving owner.

Its a win, win, win scenario.

This isn't to say that every craigslist seller is unawares. I have also gotten a hand full of animals from a friend I met through craigslist. But it is obvious to tell the difference between someone who is selling babies, or downsizing their collection for various reasons, they know what their animals are worth and are advertising far enough in advance to get what their animals are worth. And someone who wants no money for a tiny collection of expensive animals for the good old "my wife doesn't like snakes", "my apartment doesn't take snakes", "some lame reason so I need to get rid of them ASAP".

Got a great deal on a bunch of snakes not too long ago because he was "having a baby and didnt want big snakes in the house"
