Re: Ball python not eating / Temp check please
The only way I can up my air temps to low 80's is with bulb/ceramic but my humidity takes a real drop! She she shed last week and when I looked in the hide it was in lots of pieces, but she was moving around in there a lot so maybe she broke it up with all the movement I'm not sure. I think it's all off though which is the main thing

If your using a glass tank thick art paper or the like can be placed on the sides and back. This will give you 2-3 degree rise.

Using damp moss in the hides will help your sheds. During shed keep it damp and while not shedding dampen the moss and allow it to dry out before dampening again. This creates a micro-climate in the hide so your snake gets the humidity it needs.

The broken shed says it did not come off clean. You need more humidity.

Yes when she had blue eye I put damp moss in her hide she went in and shed in there didn't come out for a day or two, my new viv has 62% humidity which is better than previous 39% so maybe a better shed next time ! It was my air temp drop that worries me. It's a monk field wooden viv, with glass floor
