OK...feeding week 2. I am using f/t mouse hoppers. This week after a full thaw and warming in ziplock/hot water i placed the prey on the screen top to prescent while i fed my normal. She wouldn't leave the warm side hide at first. But the prescenting at least made her look out of her hide. Zombie walk...dangle...no motion. So I left the prey at the entrance and left her alone. After about half an hour she came out, looked it over and now has been doing her nightly explorations with the prey laying there. How long should I leave there to see if she takes it?

Well it went in at 8pm and came out at 1am. Still no feeding this week.

ok some people might not agree with me here but,

when i bring home a snake that wont take a f/t after trying twice or three times i would just throw in a live mouse/rat.

if the snake takes that for 2 - 3 times in a row i will try offerng a good warmed up f/t again usually it will take the f/t then with no problem.

but that is just how i do it.

This is what is was thinking as well. Would seem to be logical. She didn't hide from the prey so I might just not have gotten it warm enough. My older normal has always been such a good eater that I knew I would be spoiled.

Does anyone know how long I should wait before I become worried? I don't have a scale yet but she was hatched in early August.

    SHE ATE!!! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...7b48732f20.jpg

I tried ensuring the prey was warmed better and even if she was shy she took it. I had to leave it laying for her but she finally took a hopper and ate. I feel better now even she doesn't.

And she ate again late last night! Seems Zillo might be willing to stick around!
