Would be nice for my collection to be self sustaining. Haha. Few years from that, I think.

I just keep them now, but Im considering breeding next year! Mostly to get morphs I cant afford and also because I want to see if I can do it. Plus I bought a couple more expensive snakes and it would be nice to get a little return on the investment, even if it really doesn't match the money I've sunk into it. I don't plan for it to ever become a career for me or anything, just one clutch a year at the most, I want my hobby to stay nice and manageable.

I may only have snake one right now, but if I manage to keep this one successfully, this is the plan.

I want to successfully breed ball pythons, maybe be known locally, and try for a world's first morph. I don't want to make money at it, I just like ball pythons and I don't mind doing some spending on them.

However, my second goal is so much more important to me than my first that I would choose this one 100% of the time over the first one if I had to. My second goal is to visit schools and educate kids about reptiles. I want to build a future where people don't want to ban snakes or put travel restrictions on them or kill them. I want to try to create a future that is safe for reptiles. I think that if everyone with a snake, turtle, tortoise or lizard educated one person that knew nothing about reptiles, our pets would have a better future. Kids are our future politicians, presidents and the deciding factor in whether our reptiles have a solid future or an uncertain one. I plan to start on my second goal by the end of this year.

Kind of ambitious for a person who's had her snake for a week, but you know... xD

This. Exactly. I already have in mind what worlds first I want to create. I hope it's a worlds first, because it's not on World of Ball Pythons. I want to be known locally, there aren't many herpers where I come from, and especially not ones that started at age 11. Yep. That's me. It would be cool to make some money out of it, but I just love my snakes. I have three, I should be getting my very first clutch this coming season, (btw, when should I start pairing??) And I'm really really thrilled to hopefully see my very first baby pop out of it's egg. That's what it's about for me.
