Some of the vendors will agree to hang onto it until you're ready to leave the show, otherwise you just kind of hold onto it carefully (They all get put into bags or plastic tubs, the only snakes out and about are the ones the vendors are showing off or animals being inspected by buyers). I really recommend checking out every booth! A big chunk of the show is ball pythons, but there are so many exotic lizard, tortoise, and spider species available that it's amazing. I'm not much of a tortoise person, but watching the babies bump around is just the cutest thing. Also there are rack vendors, jewelry makers, every bit of equipment or supplies you could imagine (for cheaper than pet store prices), and of course zoomed's tent is always worth a look.
Oh! nearly forgot, but the feeder booths are really worth some attention. I've got a bearded dragon, and besides for the free food samples they give you (Free crickets or worms of your choice when you walk in the door, plus they'll give you more free bugs if you buy any animals), they also have dubia roaches for sale, GIANT hornworms, literally every other kind of worm you could imagine, crickets in crazy bulk (over 1k), and of course rats and mice. Last fall they had a vendor selling live feeder rodents of all sizes, but I don't think I saw them again in February this year... Still, I got 50 frozen fuzzy mice for 35 dollars, if that's a good indicator of how cheap your supplies can be.
