    I was thinkin about this the other day, maybe the female laid early? We expect our females to lay 30 days after ovulation but sometimes they lay much sooner, the egg may not be as far along inside the female at this point. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the babies start developing at the time of being laid, it's more like the time of the zygote forming.
    I'm excited to see em :-)

    UPDATE: So 2 finally hatched out on day 69, 3 hatched on day 70 and 1 just hatched out a moment ago.....Day 71. This was definitely a record for me. I hope the other clutches don't follow their lead. Thank you for all the help to those that tried. I have some babies for sale now...:) Anyone looking for various pied morphs?
