From what I know, boa males tend to have bigger spurs, but it is not a guarantee. If you really want a properly sexed animal, popping and probing are by far the most accurate when done correctly. I'm not saying I know everything about dumerils boas as I've never had one, but it is the general rule is not to trust spurs alone for most species.

    Anyways, very pretty dumeril OP!

I did see the same info on various websites, but I am not gonna post links to them all, google it for yourself...hehehehehe:P:P

That's awesome she shed like that. Snakes always look so amazing after a shed. I know my Ghost girl practically glows in the dark after a shed. Now I'm curious about this sexing business. Some information seems Dumeril specific followed by information related to snakes in general disregarding the Dumeril. I know in general every one agrees probing is the best but it would be cool to work with them enough to where you would become comfortable gauging from the spurs alone.

I got so so excited when I saw that she had started her shed. Felt like it was a "meant to be" partnership between her and I. Love her! Just have to come up with a good name!

I've never really felt much of an an actual connection with any of my BPs. I love them all and I'm so excited about what I can produce. It's a definite passion. With this girl, though...I dunno. I just adore her :)

Dumerlis and Candoia are not even close to the same thing...about the only things they have in common are that they're both snakes and in the boa family xD
(okay, maybe a touch more than that, but you get what I'm saying ;P)
