    He is very pretty, he doesn't jump out and scream "I'm a spider", but the bellys a dead give away!
    He look like 3' and maybe 800 grams? Just a guess...
    Good lookin big boy!

    I think it's a good idea for beginners to start with a sub adult, not a hatching...
    Its no guarantee they'll be good feeders but you gotta figure a snake like that probably eats fine or it wouldn't be that size... Or look that good...

    I like his head pattern!

    You both grow more comfortable with each other, you'll forget all about even being intimadated by him in no time!

    Thanks so much for your very friendly and helpful responses, everybody! Swayback, funny thing is he was the last one I wanted out of the available ones, but I like that he's fairly unique looking to the unknowledgeable eye. He's a lot more active than I thought he was, and he turned his head around when I was holding him and flicked his tongue on me. Hopefully I get to hold him around my shoulders soon :)
