I agree with this, even though I know the snakes like it dark the rack is already dark enough for them so if I was painting a snake room, (and this is just my personal opinion) my favorite color is blue all shades, I'd paint it some shade of a light blue color like sky, or even baby lol. Especially since my snakes are my babies, or even a yellow or green whatever colors you like. I'd just do some kind of lively color to really brighten the room. [emoji4] but hey I can't knock grey most of my clothes are grey, white, and black soooo I do love those colors too.

Oh and also darker colors make rooms look smaller, but if you brighten it up it will look like you can fit a lot more stuff inside lol [emoji12]

For me it would depend on what color the racks were and what kind of furniture was in there. Will you have a sink? What color sink if you have one? What kind of decorations will be in the room and how tall are the racks? Is it carpet, laminate or wood flooring?

If you want to encourage your family (children at least) to go down there some earthy tones would be nice with a white sink.

Or you can go modern and go white walls, black racks, black sink and colorful furniture (chairs or couches).
