do a little research, find a breeder close to you and visit them. make sure they have a visual pied or whatever morph you want living with them.

I must agree that a reputible and established breeder is definitely the way to go with any serious investment in furthering your reptile hobby. The piece of mind that it brings is well worth any price differenct, in my opinion.
