To answer your Exo Terra for a BP question:

I started my baby bp in a 24x18x12 exo terra set up and found it to be marginally acceptable for me. Used flexwatt under tank controlled by a cheap zillow thoermastat, cut plexiglass to cover 3/4 of screen top to help maintain hunidity, overhead light for additional heat. Wasn't the easiest to keep ideal temps and humidity in this type of terrarium but it can be done. After 8-9 months, she was 45 inches in length, cramped in her exo terra, and I had saved enough for her permanent AP enclosure 48x24x15 and a quality Herpstat 2 thermostat. I love love love my new PVC cage and the Herpstat is awesome controlling the flexwatt and RHP. We keep our home on the cool side year round so both heat sources are needed. If you have the funds, i would splurge on a large pvc cage and divide it in half while she is young and open it up when she's big enough. Will make maintaining heat and humidity much easier.

    Beeder question:

I know he's not local for you, but Ben Renick at Renick Reptiles in Missouri is where I purchased my girl from and could not have been happier with the purchase. Ben has always been available to answer any questions i had along the way. Check out his web, www.renickreptiles.com. He currently has several available within your price range.

    Good Luck

As far as food is concerned, do you get your feeder mice from them too? I don't think I can purchase more than what the snake will eat per week. I live with some folks and they don't like the idea of a frozen mice next to their meat lol.

I agree with Tbrown806. Exo Terra is going to be a waste of money because you're going to have a hard time keeping up heat and humidity. I have no experience in tubs so I can't really comment on those. Vision cages are supposed to also be good but I prefer Animal Plastics enclosures.

As far as feeders, yes, i get live mice and rats from them weekly. I only feed live though. Their rodent delivery days are Mondays and Thursdays but most of the time you can get them during any day of the week.

The T8 would probably be the least expensive and ship the quickest. I had to wait almost 10 weeks for the T10 but wanted the extra height. 48x24 will be plenty big for the entire life. Do a search in the forum for "T8 setup with pictures". It's a great write up.

Personally, i'd suggest a T10. It give you just a little bit more height than a T8 but it does take forever to receive it though.

Here's that thread on the T8:

It's long and wide but the hight is only a foot in the T8. At least the T10 has a little taller (only by 3 inches though)

Here's a photo of my setup. The bottom one is my T12 and the T8 is on top. That way you see the height difference once you fill it up with stuff.
