Our family includes 1, macaw, 1 dog, 2 cats, 3 humans, and GINGER

    Thats a full house!
Ill pass on the fur bearers and the bird! Omg I hate a bird in the house!

It definately sounds like you will be hooked. I bought my first as a Bday gift to myself 2 years ago. A few months later I started reading about breeding and well by last fall I had 13 and now this Monday my first eggs. I started with all single gene to make my own multi gene bp's. With all that said enjoy your stay theres a good bunch of people around here. :gj:

I'm hoping to go to the midwest reptile show in Indianapolis. Anyone been? Is it a good place to look?
I'm really excited to get my hands on a BP cause I've anyway had a passion for animals. I currently own 2 Sugar Gliders a Leopard Gecko 3 Rats (not feeders) a bunny and 2 dogs my parents say that's plenty but I have room for 6-10 BPs. Tips for a beginner?

The big expo is comin up in Chicago soon, tinley park...

There is a reptile rescue in Cincinnati, arrowhead reptile rescue...awesome place!
I doubt there's many bp morphs that come thru there...but there's some lovely animals there!

I need the same beignet tips you do in bps....but I'd say to abide your folks!
You mention a lot of animals there! That's awesome...but without knowing your situation...it could be too many!
Do you live on a farm? Or atleast have ample space for everyone?
Do your parents keep animals? Or atleast share your love of them?
Hows your husbandry? Everybody happy n healthy? I don't mean to question you on that, you sound like your prolly doin fine but it's a question to ask yourself!
How do they feel about snakes?
Its often not hard to convince ppl of the ways of reptiles. Especially if you keep one well and they can become comfortable in person, as you educate them and yourself along the way!
Its always best to have the support of your parents when living under their roof, it'll make the whole experience better!
And...hiding snakes is never idea! Take that one from me!

    Thanks for welcome!
    Right back at ya!
