I agree with the record keeping stuff. I have feeding and health record of my bp since she first hatched June 8th. And I've been continuing the record keeping since I got her. It's good to be able to look back on the info in case they happen to refuse a meal or something. Then you can look back in the records and say "hey, looks like a shed may be due". It's just too useful. :)

I also keep records for both our BPs. I keep Sophie's info. in a notebook, and Hillary was kind enough to send cards w/Smitty (with all his history). I do like the Excel idea though and think I might try that out.

I agree, record keeping is essential.

    DIY question
Yes I have been keeping records since about 1 mo after I got Ozzy. ( learned that here)
I keep the records for both Ozzy and Osiris on the monthly/year planner that comes w/ my daytimer.
It's kinda like a note book w/ each page a month. I log urine,BM, when, if and what they ate. When they go to the vet and just behavior type things. And of course sheds.

My vet loved it when I first brought it in. Guess not to many keep records.
I have to cause it is just to much to try and recall. ( to many years partying has taken it's toll )

Good post Jonah to put that out there for all as a reminder :)
