The round petco is one of the humidity devices, and the "all living things" black one is a temp and humidity dual meter with a prob for each. I pulled the round one out to run around and check tubs and enclosures with it so the reading on it does not represent what is happening in it.it is usually maxed out.

I would trust a digital scale over an analog any day but that is just my preference. I have the same stress point as you when it comes to removing eggs from a clutch. I don't know if the mold will spread to the other eggs....I dont think that it will. When was the last time that you added water to the incubator?

It appears that you have 3 dead eggs. If the other eggs are healthy then the mold will not spread to them. If you are comfortable with it, try removing the dead eggs asap. If not, then just wait until the neonates hatch.

are there any tricks to removing the dead eggs? they are so stuck together I am afraid I will tear the good eggs trying to pull them apart... should I just count them as a loss and cut them off with a razor or is it safe to leave them? this close to the others hatching I really dont want to mess up..

Personally, I would cut all of the eggs moving from the worst looking one to the best looking one. However, before doing so I would gently peel the eggs apart from each other. If there are babies inside any of the eggs, I would gently try to un-crinkle the eggs then add distilled water that is the same temperature as the eggs6 Good luck to you.
