I happily got my ball onto F/T rats from live mice without a problem! I was putting it off cuz I didn't want the headache but the mice were just too small. So, bought a frozen rat, and he ate like a champ! :)

To answer this broad question I feed everything from mice pinks to XXL rats usually on a 2week schedule.

My scale busted but I'm trying to get my hands on another. So I'm not 100% sure on his weight but as far as large rats go, they are the same size as the thickest part on his body. He's honesty a big boy for 9 months in my opinion....but then again the large rats I buy aren't as big as usual large rats. Either way he's growing like crazy and has a huge appetite. Been like that since he was a month old.

My entire collection get offered food (different sized inhouse bred rats) every Tuesday and Thursday. Most eat everytime. Some go off food when in blue and most go off food when they are breeding. The largest sized rat I feed is a med to our 3000g+ female.
