Hi there! Like you, I am very intrigued in the breeding process and business! And I can understand where you come from but I think that there are some things that you might have to consider first!

If this is your first Ball Python and you want more, I would suggest just getting a second just to see if you can handle two before you go and attempt to hatch a bunch of little lives. Obtaining more animals in your life, especially under another's roof, is very difficult so do not expect it to be easy! Just getting good grades and doing chores doesn't really deserve any kind of reward because thats more for your own personal benefit than for your mother! Prove to her that you can keep one animal without it effecting your grades and chores and still have time to do more! Educate yourself, have educational discussions with your mother with information on snakes that maybe she didn't even know! Impress her!

And although impress her you may, she may still not move with her decision. In which case no means no and you will either have to find a job or wait until you move out. It is ultimately her decision and do not try to guilt trip or whine to her until you get what you want.

That being said, breeding any kind of animal takes patience and hard work, regardless of species. If you aren't patient enough to wait a while or move out before considering breeding, than I don't think breeding is for you! I can understand the joy of having more snakes in your life but please consider the animals before your passion/desires!

I do many chores around the house, but my parent isn't paying me, but she said she would. I'm trying to get the chore money from her. And please don't be concerned about what I said. I would never go behind her back or anything like that.

I just want to point out that breeding BPs is not a summer break project if that's what you're looking at and it doesn't take one or two months. I had my first season this year and I started my first pairings in November of 2013 and had hatchlings actually hatch out in April, that was cumulatively half a year of work and if might take even more time to have successful turnover where I make a profit off of the offspring produced. That's not even factoring the time it takes to raise up breeders (if you buy them as hatchlings) and some years you might just not even get anything for your efforts.

If you're interested in getting into breeding snakes you might want to see if there's any reptile specialty shops in your area that are hiring because most have in house breeding programs or even some private breeders with larger collections may hire people to help care for animals. Test the waters first.
