    Out of my five, this one is the only one that's afraid of his own shadow. It definitely has to do with his spider gene.

    I think the spider gene may influence the behavior, but my spiders never ball up and aren't head shy.

    Yeah what the heck my bee is a baller for sure. But only when surprised or shoked. Covers head when I walk to close to walls . I sY its a good safety. She is only 8 months but that lil head is her only soft spot. Good job sweet bee keep protecting that purdy face so all the boys will lock with u lolz

    My champagne male is just under 1000g and balls right him. He does relax and explore after a while, but this is pretty normal:

    Mine only balls up in its hide. Other than that... Never does anymore.

    But I wish everyone balled up! It would make taking photos so much easier.

    That's about where I am, yup!

    Damn snakes, moving around ;-) Even not balling up, though, the BP are 200% easier than the colubrids.
