It can, if you're misting often and so much that the substrate is constantly damp/wet. Misting lightly twice a day and keeping a damp towel over the top (if you're using a heat lamp, keep that space uncovered and far enough from the lamp that it won't become a fire hazard) should be just fine and do no harm to your snake. :)

Well after misting and soaking her once, and raising the humidity a bit, her eye seems to be normal. Though shes still not balling like normal. (Yet) i made her a new hide thats more closed which she seems to like, though she pokes her head out. Maybe shes just stretching out on purpose?
