X2. Being a child in the late 90's early 2000's Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin were always on my television. I didn't care if it was a repeat or not. They are my two primary reasons for getting into snakes, and animals as a whole.

Yup, same with me! Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin's enthusiasm and passion for animals was very contagious.

Have always wanted a BP. But, never got one because I didn't know what I would do if it ever got 6ft. I always would stop at Petsmart just to go look at them. And, yeah, ok, was afraid of getting bit too. Then, finally a few years ago, I quit caring if I got bit. And, found a guy selling a 4ft BP with the tank, and all. Then, I did research on what all I would need for it. (Yeah, I know. Shoulda done research first). But, got everything I needed for it. It got up to 5ft. Then, I gave it to a friends daughter. Cuz her 6ft Rat snake died. Six months later, I got another one. Then two months after that I got an Anery RTB. And, I don't care how long they get.... Im not giving them up. In fact, may go for one more BP.

my fascination for snakes and reptiles in general has always been there since i can remember. but it was just a minor interest, keeping on and off some bronzebacks, wolf snakes or the occasional wild caught retic over the years. it was not a burning desire to keep snakes, maybe just a tiny flicker. but the internet age is waht really escalated my reptile craziness, seeing all the crazy and exotic stuff from all over the world. it was like splashing a can of gasoline on a tiny flame.
