    What you can do is turn off the hot side (which is useless anyway since it is lower then your ambient temp) and set your ac to 86 keeping your BP without a hot spot.

    +1 about the A/C. or if an A/C makes the room too cold, maybe an evaporative cooler will suffice in lowering ambient temps to just about perfect.

    my past summer also had some days when temps spiked above 100F, i had to move everybody into a small room (including the rats) so that ambient temps can be controlled more effciently. it was the so warm that the egg incubator's cooling element almost had no rest and the heating element did not turn on at all.

    haha with my work schedule i am rarely home during the day and at nights it cools off a bit.. i prefer to be on the warm side.
