I would weigh him right now since he just ate. Then post his weight on here and people could probably tell you if that is a healthy weight for his age and sex. As was mentioned these guys are known to fast. I haven't had it happen yet but I'm NOT looking forward to it. Then attempt his usual feeding schedule using the tricks mentioned. If he doesn't eat, then weigh him instead and post his weight. Just like Gale said about fasting yet only losing 10 percent (which could still be a lot depending on the snake). If your snake starts to drop off weight then I'd switch to live. Just post updates now and then and I'm sure help will be offered when needed. That sucks about all that wasted food but as long as he is healthy that is the most important thing. That's exactly how I would approach this situation but with some added behind the scenes stressing and frustration.

I'm not sure of his weight but he looks very healthy. He is probably two feet long and at least one and a half years old.Probably older.I will continue to try the methods mentioned.I 'm not a hard head.I just got frustrated with him not eating.I guess I'm not used to ball pythons eating habits.

I've found a scale helpful with reptiles. I was lucky enough to steal mine from my business but you could probably pick one up at goodwill in the kitchen area. I've got a few but one of them is perfect. It's a cheap one like I'm assuming you could get at a thrift store but it's perfect because it has a little bowl on top for the snakes to sit in. I know what you mean though. I expect my snakes to eat every time I offer it. Which is why I now have records of every time I feed or offer it.
