Video takes time to watch. A video montage puts it at one set pace. I can't quickly fly past one that doesn't catch my eye and pause to drool over one that I think is gorgeous. Pics are WAY better IMHO, as far as what I want to see on a forum like this most of the time. There are exceptions. A video of a snake I was interested in buying would have the potential to give me a better complete view of the snake than even 3 or 4 pictures could. Certain how-tos almost have to be video. But most of the time, pics.
