its cool where i live, we can do anything, we aren't even on most maps.

but i do know the local dairy...we got her on the milk carton...lol

i ve even kept a red fox in my back yard for years. no problem.

i know the next town over isn't allowed to even sell them, for a few years now. someone moved out and left a full grown burm behind.now they make you get permits. its all about dead presidents, and maybe to regulate who has what.

you can go to JAIL if you posses a snake in hawii. no import/export going on there. nothing. they even want to do away with jacksons there cuz they r not from there.

How did you exactly lose him? How did he manage to get out of his enclosure? Also you didn't lock down the entire house so there wouldn't be a possible escape root?

a freind of mine was helping me feed one day, she never locked the sides. there was a big budda statue on top of the cage, guess she thought that was sufficient enough...i never thought to check it. we've done this before. the next day i was doing my routine check, she was gone, she pulled an eat and run. that night, my buddy came over, we totally ransacked my house. he even went as far as pulling baseboards off, and moved all the large appliances. we overturned every piece of funiture, inside and out. if you could of seen my house....wew. i 've sat up at night with a spotlight.
i just hope i find her before my kitten does. I KNOW MY KITTEN WILL KILL HER...DEAD. she is friggin' crazy. i have nightmares of her running thru the house with this snake in her mouth. my dog wouldn't care but i know she will. I named the cat Mya, then the name Trouble started to stick, now we just call her Lucy ....short femme name for Lucifer....this is why i need to find this snake before she does. my other cat, Tinker, might just play with it. she's pretty mild....
i sit up at night and just listen, hoping she will come out and knock something over...i search, listen, look and wait..i put a heat rock with a hide over it, under my computer desk, hoping she gets cold.
to begin with, i searched for the perfect, high contrast, prettiest albino i could find. took me three months to find exactly what i wanted, now shes gone.....that quick.

I'm really sorry about you losing her, I wish you the best of luck on finding her.

Damn! I feel for you wendy. There are lots of incidents here on this forum where people managed to find their lost ones even after months of dissapearance!

I dont think your snake has gotten that far! They are very skittish animal. If a kitten can kill her, than i would think shes still be in the house but in some very small and tight places.

Observe your other pets, their meows, barks whatever. IT might just point you to the direction!

hey wendy, this sounds kind of weird but maybe trying to lure her out. get a 5 gal. bucket with a lid and cut a hole high up on the bucket just big enough for the snake, then get a live mouse or rat and put in the bucket. sounds strange might be worth a try.

1 tip. Dont put a heat rock out because they can burn your snake, just put out a humane heating pad on low and maybe a towel over it (you might not need out though) there is one way that is accurate at finding them...but a little messy...sprinkle flower all over the rooms and halls (that dont have carpet) and when/if she moves around you will see it in the flower and be able to locate her.how big is she?? look under the couch cushions. and in your bed sheets ...I found my snzakes there. what state?
