I have known men that run just as equally on emotions. I completely disagree with you if you're trying to say that men think more logically than women. Working 7 years in public safety has taught me that quickly. I promise men do not use their brains any more than women.
I'm pretty sure trying to stir the pot is an emotional response to disagreeing that ones snake has feelings for them. If you were thinking logically you would have just stated it like sho instead of throwing out a sexist comment. Her sex has nothing to do with the fact that she thinks her snake loves her. I have seen countless posts from men stating the same thing. Maybe not to the same degree as lotioning them up, but in general.
How about Eric Alan, who agreed with my "emotional" response. Are you saying that his response was more logical than mine because he is a male?
Aaaaaand to not stray too far off topic. OP, I have to agree that snakes do not come with complex emotions like love. As much as I'd like to think that my snakes love me and care about me, chances are they only recognize me because of my scent. I can back that up by saying my female boa was very friendly and gentle towards me before I left for basic military training, she and all my other reptiles stayed with a friend for 9 months, and when I got her back she has been evil ever since. If she loved me, she wouldn't bite me. But she's a snake, and she bites me. I also agree that you have no clue what effects this lotion can have on your snake and I wouldn't recommend that at all. But, snuggle away while they let you.
