    Yeah I would definitely raise the heat up immediately or consider taking him to a vet if the swelling persists.

    he is looking much better. thank you everyone for your advice . i will keep watching him the next days!damn i hate ...every time he removes the paper towels ...

    Glad he's doing better! My BST just had a medium, and a small rat for dinner a few days ago and we're going through the same thing. She ate her small, but one of my balls didn't eat his medium. So without thinking I threw it in with her as she is my rat dumpster. She was laying on her side for a few hours looking full as heck, but fat and happy now.

    Be prepared for a poop of massive proportions whenever it comes is all I can say!
