Re: Purchasing ball pythons in florida
I wouldn't hate too much on Craig's. I have bought some beautiful snakes off of there. I am not saying all the breeders are going to be reputable but I obtained a stellar platinum from someone on Craigs- completely healthy, the banana- whatever you want to call him- he was still beautiful and healthy, and many other snakes. You could buy online and mess with shipping and upsetting the reptile, or you could look on Craigs for one that actually needs a home. You don't know what the OP's plans are... Is he/she looking for a morph? I was looking for morphs. I think he/she is just looking for one that needs a home. That can be allowed from Craigs.

In any case, they were just expressing their surprise on the permit legislation. I don't really have an opinion on the permit. I don't live anywhere near Florida. But I do have an opinion on Craigs. Lol.
I know there a tons of ball pythons who would love a home on there. So do what you need to do. I definitely wouldn't worry about having a permit if you are just buying one, though.
