Awesome! My sister worked in an (insert politically correct term for old folks' home) for like two years so I took that to mean she must be qualified to diagnose and treat any medical issue I have. She's getting pretty sick of it. She's going to be so glad to learn I know of someone else who's closer to being a doctor than her!
You should see if Chris will let you deliver his baby!

I just graduated nursing school and OB (obstetrics aka babies/pregnancy/etc) is my area of interest. Those home pregnancy tests also need at least 2 weeks from the day of conception in order to test the hormones released. Just hang in there.

Yep. That too. Keep in mind that most pregnancies (but not all) occur during your most fertile peaks which is roughly 14 days after your cycle starts. Sense most periods start 14 days later, a missed period is usually, but not always, the time to take your first test. Sometimes the first half of the cycle runs late and your ovulation is later than normal. These extra few days can push the testing date back even further.
And yes. I can deliver babies. Someone fetch me some warm water and a towel.

I think 99% of what I now know about women's bodies during this time was learned the morning after my girlfriend told she might be pregnant. Turned out it was just late and nothing came of it, but my god the research you do after hearing that.....
