I apologize for not being born knowing about radiant heat panels and probe placement. Since I was not born with this knowledge I have to ask questions and learn from the answers I get which is why I asked this question here. I was told that you could put the probe on the cool side set your Tstat to 80 and the hot side should be around 89/90 which kinda worked but I had the issues I stated in the main post. So now I have to do the opposite. Put the probe on the hot side set Tstat to 83-86 (whatever temp works best) and let the cool side follow suite and settle at 80 hopefully. There are a lot of people that place their probes on the cool side, now I know that placing on the hot side will work better for me. Look i learned something! :) So I'm sorry if my ignorance bothered you so much you had to make this comment. Hopefully you can learn that if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say, don't say anything at all. So "Wow! Really???" Right back at ya buddy.

I let my probe just hang down under my RHP. That way you get a true temp. I use my RHP for ambient temp though but the idea will work for hot spots as well.
