I have not recieved her yet. She has been eating rat pups hairless I believe. She will be switched to mice when I get her. She is 4 months old and about two feet long. That is what I was told.

The rats that she is eating are too small. The only rats I can't get a small adult rats. So I will be switching back to mice. The guy I am getting her from has had problems with his mice. So has been feeding rats. It is never a problem to get BCI to switch they everything in front of them.

Boa's don't soak alot, and they don't have problems switching from mice to rats. I have no clue why everyone thinks Boa's soak all the time, because of my 4, none of them ever soaked.but you should have a water biowl big enough for them to fit in with any snake.

Both of the boa's i've kept soaked from time to time. As long as your temps are good and you dont see any signs of mites or any other health problems, they are just fine. Some are soakers, some arent ;)

BPBabe, I don't think it's that we think they soak a lot. We just tend to compare them to our bp's. In comparison, yes, boa's usually like to soak more often.
