    You could move the water bowl closer to the heat source, you could dampen the substrate or you can mist the vivarium :) That temp for ambient should be a little bit warmer maybe.

    EDIT: Just read your OP, you can also cover the mesh on the top with some tin foil to keep humidity in. Don't cover it all, let some air flow.

    Will try the foil, unfortunately I only use one heat pad and it is about the same size as his warm hide...

    Not a problem, the foil will work fine, my girlfriend does the same to keep her crested geckos humidity up around the 70-80% mark. If that fails to raise it to 50%ish, then try putting some water on the substrate or lightly misting it. Hope this helps! :)
