Opionion of offensive videos WOBP are promoting please

I'll have to watch it when I get off work tonight. I know John of JD constrictors posted something on FB earlier. I didn't know who he was talking about till this thread. Like john said, that kind of language looks really bad on your business. Conduct yourself professionally and don't burn yourself by putting off potential customers.

Like Forest Gump says stupid is what stupid does.

Just watched another of their videos. What an embarrassment, makes me appreciate what Brian is doing with snake bytes tv that much more.

Not every forum or website pays a lot of attention and or to a family friendly atmosphere. That's their right and entirely their own decision.

But it's important to us - which is why we sometimes seem a bit hard on people about language and linked content. :oops:

There are parts of the internet I wouldn't want to expose any child of mine to but, in the end, everyone will have different limits for their own children.

I hope we always lean on the side of caution and people feel they can trust us not to let anything too bad slip through - but if you do see something you consider offensive on here please contact any member of staff and they will take care of it. :please:

I can't even picture the hip hop / rap like even going into the life of a breeder or a video... Yes, I listen to rap music and that type of stuff, but I don't go putting it in videos and educational sites... This guy has got to be one of the most ridiculous people even in the hobby.. WOW!

I really do not like that video either or think it should have been promoted, although I can listen to some rap. That is not something that should be put on a educational video.

I also agree that dudes videos overall are just plain bad.

Alright I watched it. Just wow. Yeah I'll happily take my money elsewhere. Too many quality and professional ball pythons breeders to bother with the ones that aren't. I learned absolutely nothing from that video. Plus the music was horrible, especially with the cussing, the acting like gangsters and pretending to roll in the riches from their snakes, while sipping wine and poorly talking about things most breeders already know is pretty distasteful. I'm fine with them talking about the simple lethal combos but it was just horribly scripted and no detail to it. What a poor example of the hobby. It'll be interesting to see how much this hurts their business. I can't imagine anyone coming out with a positive impression of their business. I've seen "amateur" videos (for example I love Slitherin Sisters videos) that I really enjoy and that are funny. This just no. They just come off as kids playing in snake breeding.

I've seen their videos. I'm just hoping its a clumsy attempt at satire.

I think the owner of WOBP should review videos before they get published, because that makes that site look bad

I've sent them an email using their "contact" form on their site. According to whoever answered my on FB stated it was never received... Pretty convenient. They still haven't answered my question on FB either. It looks like they stand behind the video. Pretty sad if you ask me.
