Thanks for the tip! Has anyone tried using one with the top as a humid hide?

I don't know about using it for water, though - it seems to me any bowl wider at the top than the bottom tends to get tipped over pretty regularly, at least by my little worms...

I have tried them as a humid hide--the lids do not fit securely enough and are easily removed. I was going to try some sort of plastic bolt down the middle, but decided to get different tubs with top clasps for humid hides. I will be interested if you find a way to make them work as humid hides though. They make good trap boxes as you can just throw another tortilla warmer over the top.

Edit- I have also used them as water dishes for my amazons. I could see them not working for terrestrial snakes.

They might be little too light to use as water bowls unless you fill them all the way, but I don't want to do that and risk water sloshing out when I pull out the tubs. I found some children's bowls with the flat, grippy bottoms that I'm going to try.

Maybe you could use them as humid hides if you hot glued the lid on? Or melted the edges together?
