Outside Tic Pics

Beautiful snake, some day I'd like to get a retic, normals are still my favorite. I have a female burm, for now, one large python is enough. We got 18 inches of snow here yesterday, so it will be a bit before my snakes and Sulcata get any action outside.

Ok I lied. Not everyday. Got home a little late today and the sun was already on its way down.

Awesome! Do you have to watch out for anything particular when taking them outside to play in the grass? I mean any kind of bugs or anything that you need to worry about them picking up?

Not really. I keep them out of dog poop, stinging nettle, ant hills and spider webs lol. Other than that anything that could hop on them and cause issues you can't safeguard agaisnt. I'm in the yard enough that the pests would just come in with me even if I didn't bring the snakes outside.

Plus our climate here doesn't support many bugs that would cause detriment to the snakes. It's still dropping down to 40° at night right now, and 80-85° in the daytime.
