    a bp won't bite you unless it's self defense. normally it will hiss or just snap at you...mine has never hissed, but has snapped a few times...but usually it will just ball up...hense, the name "ball python"...

    they DON'T have huge fangs..i don't have experiance with getting bitten by a ball python, so i don't have a "yes" or "no" answer to your "does it hurt?" question.

    If you're slow and gentle with your snake, you shouldn't have a problem with him getting defensive. just treat it like a tiny baby....just be very very gentle.

    11 seem a little young in my oppinion.

    im thinkin of gettin a baby so by the time im old enough to live by myself it would be full grown

    They're full grown around 3 years old, give or take a few years. So do you plan on living by yourself when you're 14-15? ;)

    You won't need a huge room. An adult ball python can live comfortably in a 30 gallon tank. 40 is preferred though. :)
