I understand your loyalty to Freedom Breeder because they've been around for a long time. I'll give you that. These racks are expensive as we all know so I need to make sure I make a wise investment. :)

I buy whatever is the best deal and whatever is easiest to get. In my snake house I have ARS, FB and Roylance. Don't assume I'm a FB fanboy. ARS has never done me wrong, but I laughed at the suggestion they have done anything but riff on FB's original concept.

    Does that clear things up?

Im looking at ARS right now even though the same amount of tubs could be cheaper with FB. Also FB has cup holding tubs which im not sure if ARS has them

You need to factor in shipping costs. Whatever is closest to you may be the best deal.

ARS is willing to price match shipping cost so shipping isn't a factor. I don't really like the built in cup holders because I feel that they are too small for adult ball pythons.

FB sells 40 tub rack for almost $100 more than the ARS 30 tub rack so it looks like I might just go with FB.

The water dish size is fine for adult ball pythons.
But if it was really a concern, you can choose to get tubs with no cup holders.

Some of my ball python like to soak in the water and they will not be able to do that with the built in cup holder. I am planning to get tubs without the cup holders.
