but also, if you post it a bunch of times, people might find it annoying and not bother responding at all

most of the time on this site, there is an answer within a couple hours, so just be patient

yes, i know you want what is healthy for you snake, and not want to harm it, but why not try and post the question before you do it, just so you know if its healthy or not before he has to deal with it

well, seeing as how this was no big emergency i kind of see it as a waste of space and a waste of time for viewers--seeing the new topic and reading it, but then it was just the same question over and over. you got plenty of replies right away, so no need to keep repeating yourself. people around here are good like that--quick to help and get you your answers. :)

Actually, your question isn't important as you'd think.
Its not a life or death situation.
Your life would go on even if you didn't use the black light, and if you weren't sure its harmful you shouldn't of been using it until after you asked if you really cared that much.

See, I didnt know that it wouldnt hurt him. How is it a waste of space when my snakes life can be in reopardy? Well, last night I only got 1 reply and it was a "not sure", so you can just say that I got a bunch of replies. Now today is a diffrent subject. I did get a lot fo replies today, and thank you for them. I wanted to see the light on last night because I had a feeling that he was trying to excape. Now to me, that is an emergency. I didnt want to disturb him or anything so thats why I asked. This isnt the best subject to debate over so if you want to, go for it, im ready. Im not trying to be mean or rude, I just needed an answer right away. I would think also that if someone were to see all of the messages, then that person would know that I was desperate for an answer. Please dont make this a big deal. Now I know the answer and im ready to drop the subject.

a lot of snakes seem like they are trying to escape, im assuming you meant that he was going up the wall of the cage, and its nose was at the screen?

just make sure that your top is secure and you have nothing to worry about

Seriously, my snake always tries climbing the vines and finding away out.
If you have a good lid then why would you worry?
Or why didn't you ask if it can escape with the lid you're using?!
I personally think you're just making up excuses.

    Yeah, excuses alright...

Im a new snake owner and I get worried. I get worried because i have a lot or dogs and cats that try to open all of my animal cages. I have about 5 or 6 rocks on top but there is still a small gap between the lid and tank. I just worry. My mom also told me that if the snake dies, then I cant get another until I move out. So, I dont want to screw this up. Why would I make excuses up about a situation that I was worried about? It seems to me that your jelious that I actually worry about my animals...

if there is a gap in your tank you need to take care of that asap. that is not safe. get a $10 rubbermaid or sterilite from walmart if you need something cheap. then your worries will be over and your snake will be safe.
