Ball-Pythons are really cheap from breeders at reptile shows.
When I went to the one near me (Boca Raton)
They had hatchlings for $20 dollars a piece.

Hmm, I'm not sure if the show would sell equipement.
Small Shows usually don't have enclosures for sale, but I might be wrong about that show.
You can house the ball-pythons in a sterilite/rubbermaid for about ten dollars ...

Nope, don't know anyone, sorry. I'm sure there will be booths set up selling tanks/equipment. What kind of equipment do you need other than a tank? Getting your set-up together can be expensive, but there are ways to make it cheaper if you're worried about money.

    You can...
make your own hides out of boxes or terra-cotta flower pots.

buy a cheap bowl for water.

buy a human heating pad for $10-15.

    buy a digital thermometer/hygrometer combo for $15.

use newspaper or paper towels for substrate.

And all of these things can be found at Walmart, much easier on the wallet then buying a bunch of reptile brand stuff from a petstore or reptile show, and your snake won't know the difference.

Generally I think they're kept by the mailboxes and outdoor thermometers. You can always ask someone in the store for help, too.

Yes, that is the Wallmart I go to, and yes they're usually by the outdoor thermometers. If you can't find them, ask for help.

And by plants, do you mean fake plants for your tank? I bought some fake ivy vines from Petsmart but I don't remember how much they were. If you go to Michaels (there is one in that Walmart center) they might have something like that for cheap.
