Do you know anyone else with a snake? Maybe you can order in bulk and split the bill? Do you by any chance go to St. Paul, MN often? There is a reptile show in late April - http://coldbloodedexpos.com/mn-reptile-show/ - that will surely have the rats you need. Its about 3+ hours away from you but it was just a thought.

No one near me sells fuzzy rats and I am having to use adult mice for now. I love in North East Georgia near Athens, so if anyone knows of someone close, PLEASE let me know.
Repticon will be here in a couple of weeks so if I can make it until then I will stock up!
I guess another solution would be to but more snakes and order larger quantities of rats to help offset the shipping cost!! LOL!!

You may also want to try Craigslist. We have a continuous running ad on craigslist and provide both live an frozen rodents for several local people who keep snakes. There may be someone in your area doing the same.

Search for local/state-specific reptile forums on Facebook. People who breed and sell feeders advertise there. My local guy sells rats live or f/t vacuum-sealed in packs of anywhere from 3-10 feeders, depending on size.
