My baby boa struck me and until now I couldn't explain what it felt like and now that's a perfect explanation. And what i do with the water is I just overflow their water dish so the entire area around the water bowl is wet. I also use my sprayer to fill a cup then use the cup to fill their water bowl because they do not like to be sprayed. My king snakes love it and so does my A.versicolor but not the ball pythons.if you do have to use a sprayer make it drip not spray.

lol Oh I know.... I've been bitten by a bp before... I'm not concerned about the pain or anything, I just do not want him to be the type of snake that snaps or strikes at me all the time lol... That was definitely a great comparison to their bites though lol
