But he had a mink parent, so that would mean he carries the mink gene right?

Also, that mink pup probably belongs to a different mother. I have another female(mink) in the same tub who had a litter the same day as this girl. I only selected the pups I wasn't sure about for the photo. I just threw in the mink and russian blue pup as a reference and comparison.

He does carry Mink if he had a Mink parent, thus the Russian Doves. That said, think of Russian Blue like Piebald (it's recessive), Pied x Pied = All Pieds. But if both parents also carry Albino, you'll also get Albino Pieds, but the entire clutch will still be Pieds.

It makes sense that the Mink kit belongs to another doe. That had me confused. lol

As you can tell, Russian Doves are quite lovely. Try mixing them with Agouti (of course since Russian Blue and Mink are Recessive, you'll have to breed the siblings back together) for Russian Cinnamons. They are probably one of my favorites. :)

Hmm I have blue and I have mink. I know what to shoot for now. Ah I want an agouti rat now. It's like a bay horse (bays with blazes and socks are my favorite)
