This, the only time my boa has tagged me is when she was feeding, she struck at the f/t rat and hit my hand instead. Amazing food response on that girl. Heck with the stupid zombie dance, I just drop the rat in and shut the door real fast.

    1. Chances are, your boa won't refuse. They are not like BPs and tend to be garbage disposals.

    2. If he IS picky, just leave the prey in there (I'm assuming you feed pre-killed or f/t??) and he will most likely feed sometime during the night.

    3. Lower your temps a wee bit. Boas do seem to like it a touch cooler. 78 and 88 work well.

    ^^this^^

My boa prefers the cool side as well. And there is never a need to feed ANY snake outside its enclosure.

Definitely good advice your getting here. Feed your Boa in its enclosure. All of our boas getting very tuned in when it's feeding time wouldn't dream of moving them.

Well he has only just eaten for the first time last night since I had him, had to leave the rat under a hide and he took it in the night. He has just shed as well, hence lack of interest
