How do you know it's a female?

She's been sexed, and males don't get her size lol. Even at first glance she has a short tail while makes have long ones. Def a female :)

I had a male that was her size so it happens. Also, the tail is not what I would consider short. I hope she was probed in front of you to be sure. One way to find out is to put her in with an older male that has been breeding for a while. If it's quiet you're good to go. If they start banging around in the tub you might want to have her rechecked. Been there, done that. :P

Her tail looks long in the picture, but in person it is pretty stubby lol. Not that, that should be the only thing to rely on. She was a pet before I got her, and she came from a breeder at underground reptiles. but I did pop her and results said girl. But I thank you for your input, I'll get her check out by someone else to be sure :) I have a 3 year old male, but he has never bred before because he is a regular ole pastel. I let him taste her last night, he was one curious little guy. But I'll throw them in the tank and see how they act haha

Well, I hope it does turn out to be a female. Good luck.

I'm quite impressed that you were able to pop a 4,000 gram BP. ;)

Haha well from experience, I think did correct on her ;) I'll feel better once she's probed though!

Just wanted to show you all her color compared to my pastel. She is so much lighter, and I believe she is going to shed too! I'm still skeptical if she's a "normal" but either way she will have some pretty babies :)
