i think that is a very wise decision. i understand your excitement about snakes, but your choice to wait is a good one. i'm glad we could be of help. :)

Yes, it is very easy to go overboard quickly (herps can be addicting) and then one day find yourself overwhelmed and wishing you had taken it slower.

Yea, I mean once I get my Burm all settled in I might get a hogg island. I heard from somewhere that you should rub your snake in olive oil to check/get rid of mites. Right now my burm seems to be doing great. I havent handle her since I put her in the tank. But, She seems to be adjusting I also havent seen any mites THANK GOD! I have less than a week till I can set up her tank a lil better meaning put substrate in and etc. Tomorrow I am going to the zoo with my girlfriend and I am going to look at setups they have for their herps. I hope I can get inspired by some of their tanks. I don't know if I posted about this but my girlfriend has a new kitten that she got from her sister. He is really cute he is all black with white around his ummm manhood I guess you could say not very much white tho. Again once I get my camera back I will start posting pics of my animals .

dude, maybe you could separate you sig by putting commas between all your animals instead of starting a new line every time? it makes for an awful lot of scrolling. you've got a serious house full!
