    Maybe it's a snake version of going bald or getting old, except it's white scales instead of receding or grey hair. Even though they probably aren't that old.

    That looks pretty cool actually. My money is that it could be an old injury that healed in an odd way.

    But! I do remember a thread around here somewhere about a person who owned a Spider, I think?

    It took a very looong time to shed, and when it did, it literally changed colors and went from a normal spider, to like a white or silver one. So it is possible for them to change colors at points.

    She's only about 9months old. So she's defiantly not aging. Lol but I'm waiting or her next she to see if more scales fade. Her overall color has lightened since that shed she ha with me compared to when I bought her and she finished shedding then.

    my normal has some blushing that becomes more noticeable each time she sheds, so maybe it is just blushing????...
