    You should try not putting it in water at all it takes some of the scent off. In less your putting it in a sandwhich baggy first and then dropping it in warm water. And If you dont have a heat lamp you can use a blow dryer.

    Cryptic not in the least, I've had the snake for well over a week and I am going away for a few day's and wanted to feed before I left as to not leave the snake without a feed for over 2 weeks, I think that seems more fair, as well as I haven't been handling him or disturbing him aside from cage management...

    The snake will be fine for two weeks, and will mostly likely be settled by the time you get back, and will be ready to eat.
