Yeah it definitely works and nobody is looking behind your dresser they're most likely going to be looking at the front of the tank. The only bad thing I could think of is the heat tape sitting on the corner of your dresser but as long as the tank stays in the same position most of the time I don't see it doing any damage to it.

I'm so glad you said that because I'd much rather have it hanging off the back then the front, sometimes I cut corners pretty fast and I know I'd ram into it on a daily basis Lolz. And I don't have to worry about any heat tape I'm using radiant heat panels :)

So you have nothing to worry about. There's only a couple inches hanging off of the back and it's leaning against the wall so there's no risk of the tank falling.

Lol everyone's a thread hijacker. I got the doors today but the other package hasn't come yet, it'll probably be here tomorrow.

It isn't very well known but the markup on TV stands at best buy are insane so you can get amazing deals on them if they are open boxed. They have to mark the item down if the packaging is open and they can usually go as low as employee pricing depending on if it'll be discontinued soon. ("Dead stock" and all that jazz.) Plus with TV stands, I remember one of the main reasons it was returned was that the customer misjudged the space it'll occupy.
